Something Like Hate releases on June 10th. Iโm so freaking excited for you to read my fiery enemies to lovers romance!
โIโd say itโs nice to meet you, but Iโve never been a good liar.โ Thatโs his initial offense against me. Donโt worryโthereโs plenty more where that came from.
Landon Winters is colder than his last name suggests. Cruel and callous too. Heโs a billionaire by his own makingโnot satisfied with simply inheriting a white collar and silver spoon. Landon’s arrogance is so thick I could choke on the stench alone. Heโs also responsible for gouging a jaded chip into my shoulder.
The only saving grace is never having to see him again. Wishful thinking is a fickle beast.
My boss just announced that Landon is my latest client. Iโll need to impress him or kiss my promotion goodbye. Either way, this is my chance to get even.
Revenge is all I see. The price for redemption is steep. Landon will pay a small fortune in humiliation. And Iโll walk away filthy rich in vindication.
We are one week away from Leave Him Loved arriving! Itโs safe to say Iโve never been more excited to press publish. Thereโs just something really special about Reeve and Audria. Youโll find out super soon!
In the meantime, I have an excerpt for you today. Enjoy a little taste of this upcoming treat!
Audria
I glance at his sneakers. โWhatโs your opinion on cowboy boots?โ
โEveryone should own a pair.โ The statement rolls off his tongue like an indisputable fact.
I tuck a lock of hair behind my ear. โNever have I ever.โ
โOh, are we playing?โ That sinful grin tilts higher.
The heat coiling inside me cranks hotter. โI was just stating a fact.โ
โNext time weโre at the Salt Lick, itโs on.โ
โThat game is definitely more entertaining with copious amounts of liquor.โ I tip the beer to my lips.
โEspecially with your lewd frame of mind.โ
โHa, youโre hilarious.โ
โAnd youโre the one who coined CornHub.โ
I pick at some lint on the blanket. โYouโve got me there.โ
โI appreciate your wild and adventurous spirit.โ The gleam in his gaze returns.
A twitch crooks at the corner of my lips. Volleying with an equally sweet comment is a seamless move. Instead, I allow a trickling melody of silence to dance between us.
Reeve peers over at me. โAny interest in going to a football game?โ
I knit my brows. Attending a sporting event had occurred to me as an option. I didnโt know where to begin with possibilities, though. โIowa doesnโt have a pro team.โ
โDamn, youโre cute.โ He chuckles and lightly nudges me in the ribs. โI meant high school.โ
And now I want to hide behind a tree. โAh, that makes more sense.โ
โCertainly does. So, wanna go?โ
โYeah, absolutely. Iโm a fan of the game. Did you ever play?โ
โOffensive line. I was a tight end,โ he explains.
โNo past tense about that,โ I whisper.
โIf that does something for you, I still have my jersey.โ
โHow about the stretchy pants?โ
โBall huggers,โ Reeve corrects.
โYeah,โ I purr.
It might be my imagination, but he seems to bend closer. The blue in his eyes swirls with tiny specks of green. The usually cool combination sparks with fire. His hand barely brushes mine, but an unmistakable tingle zaps up my arm. Rather than retreating, he traces the center of my palm with his finger. This type of touchโwhether by accident or very much on purpose is irrelevantโsteps our harmless flirting up several notches. I suck in a sharp breath, and he notices.
Reeve shifts a safe distance away, taking his warmth with him. The absence of his touch is an immediate loss. His gaze burns into me, vivid depths swirling with undeniable want that Iโm positive reflects in my own eyes. He leans in, ghosting the tip of his nose across my cheek. I tremble and tilt into him.
โYouโre so beautiful,โ he whispers.
I lick my bottom lip, preparing to eliminate this invisible barrier separating us once and for all.
Leave Him Loved releases on February 25th and I just revealed the cover. Isnโt he gorgeous? Reeve Colton is so swoony!

BLURB โ Iโm a city girlโborn and raised. A towering high-rise that overlooks the hustle and bustle is where my future should lead. Living in farm country? That possibility never had a place on my bucket list. Until now.
Bumping into Reeve Coltonโlocal bachelor and shameless flirtโon my introductory stroll down Main Street is a pleasant surprise. The small-town charm of Bampton Valley begins sinking in that afternoon. Maybe this temporary relocation is a blessing in disguise.
What starts as a bit of fun becomes complicated in a hurry. It turns out Reeve and I have more in common than our mutual appreciation of good barbecue.
But that wonโt change the inevitable. When my contract is done, Iโll be leaving himโand Bampton Valleyโbehind.
